This project consists of the design and site supervision of construction of sewers networks and house connections for the towns of Aley Barouk - Fraidis, Bhamdoun el Mahata and Deir El Kamar in Lebanon. This multi-million dollar sewer project for the Council for Development and Reconstruction in Lebanon included over 40 kms of sewer pipes ranging in diameter from 150mm to 500mm. The work included developing and Tender Documents as well as the site supervision of construction of the works.

Prepared an environmental assessment report, detail design and preparation of tender documents, study the effluent reuse for agricultural purpose and prepare detailed cost analysis for the works. Regarding the Design of Wastewater Treatment Plant and Effluent Reuse, the works include search for a land suitable for STP, study wastewater characteristics, perform topographic survey and geotechnical investigations study and make preliminary design of a minimum of 4 different treatment options, the works also include the preparation of institutional arrangements to manage the treatment facilities, collection system and effluent reuse, and the preparation of operation and maintenance manual.
An environmental assessment study was carried out for the impact of the present situation on the environment and the impact of the various treatment options thus proposing the best treatment and effluent to be reused for agricultural purposes.

It involves the design of over 40 kms of sewer pipes, 40 kms of water mains and 11 kms of stormwater drainage pipes, 13 water supply bore holes, 7 elevated water reservoirs, 2 sewage pump stations and for a total area of 164 hectares. The work involved includes developing conceptual studies, preparing economic feasibility studies and reports, preparing environmental impact assessments and preparing preliminary and final design and drawings and tender documents for the eight camps.

The project consists of a Preliminary Study, Final Design, and Supervision of construction works for a complete system including wastewater network, a collector wastewater line and a wastewater treatment plant.

The wastewater treatment plant consists of screening, oxidation ditches, clarifiers, screw lift pumps, lift station and sludge drying beds. It provides a secondary level treatment and it is designed to accommodate an average daily flow of 5,250 cubic meters, which shall serve the towns of Laboue, Nabi Osman and El Ain for a design period of 25 years.
